The Solar Rantak(Flour Mill) pilot project is indigenously developed at Appropriate Technology section of Ladakh Ecological Development Group LEDeG, this flour mill is powered by a 12V high torque DC geared motor, the stone used is this project is Kota stones from Rajasthan. The mill is powered by a 12V 16Ah battery which is charged with the help of a 165 watt solar module with the help of MPPT charge controller.
The auto climate control system has been developed by Appropriate Technology section of Ladakh Ecological Development Group, this system has been developed using open source arduino IDE platform and programming boards this particular project uses arduino nano board which is coupled with 2 OLED screen one for temperature monitoring and other for humidity monitoring, and the system uses DHT 22 temperature and humidity sensor which control a 2 channel high ampere relay system which can control 2 loads A.C or D.C loads this system has been developed for controlling the temperature and humidity in our polycarbonate green house which is also developed by the agriculture section of Ladakh Ecological Development Group.
The battery powered butter churner project is in progress, this project also uses arduino IDE platform and this particular project will be powered by arduino pro mini which is coupled with a 12 volt DC geared motor having 1000 rpm, this system has a auto forward reverse feature and provision to charge the battery through AC adapter or solar module.
